Maunganui. The Maioha Cottage, built in 1875 for Hoani and Makere Maioha. It is a typical pioneer cottage. Of particular interest are the pitsawn roof rafters, the mortice and tenon joints, and the original split kauri roof shingles which can be seen in the attic.
